Our story

It all began with grandmother's hospitality

Diby Kämping is a warm, unhurried place to stay in Diby village on the island of Vormsi — somewhere time seems to pause and calm, unspoilt nature surrounds you. Our family has been welcoming guests here since the early 2000s.

In 2025 we gave this special place a fresh start: both cabins were renovated while keeping their homely, bohemian warmth. You are always welcome here.

Renovated cabins and cosy rooms in the sauna house — bed linen and towels are provided in all of them. Swipe to see more photos.

* Prices may vary with demand and with events taking place on Vormsi. Camping in the yard is also possible — €15 per person (includes shower, outdoor toilet, barbecue and electricity).

A wood-fired sauna and a relaxing hot tub, right under the stars

Let us know in advance and we will heat both the sauna and the hot tub for you. All that is left for you to do is enjoy it.

Things to do

The sauna is only the beginning

There is plenty to do in the yard, and the beautiful island of Vormsi is waiting to be explored all around you.

Disc golf basket

The basket is right here in the yard and we have discs for you — a couple of rounds before or after the sauna go by fast.

Mölkky

The popular Finnish throwing game that brings children and grandparents together. Excitement guaranteed.

Cornhole

The classic bean bag toss next to the terrace. The rules are simple, but every round tempts you into one more.

Bicycles

Bicycles are available to rent on site. Vormsi is small and the roads are flat — by bike you can reach the lighthouse and the shore in a single day.

You won't run out of things to do

Concerts, fairs and village festivals take place on Vormsi all year round — have a look at the island's events calendar and time your trip to catch one of them.

On home café days we open a home café with a different country's theme for the weekend, once a year. In 2025 it was Mexican cooking, in 2026 the flavours of Italy.

Getting here

Getting here is easier than you think

Vormsi is a small island in the Baltic Sea — the journey there is already part of the holiday.

1 · Ferry from Rohuküla

The ferry Ormsö brings you from Rohuküla harbour to Vormsi. Book tickets in advance (especially if you are bringing a car) at veeteed.com. Be at the harbour at least 15 minutes before departure.

2 · The only traffic light on Vormsi

We are easy to find — Diby Kämping sits right by the island's only traffic light, next to the Diby bus stop and the "Kämping" sign. You can park right in our yard.

3 · Check-in from 15:00

Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00 at the latest. Give us a call to let us know which ferry you are arriving on, so we can welcome you properly.

How do I book?
Simply and quickly — call us on +372 5345 1471 and we will lock in your dates.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes, bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own sauna towels, charcoal and insect repellent — when the weather is warm and still, the mosquitoes tend to get ready for guests too.
Can I use the sauna and the hot tub?
Of course. Let us know in advance and we will heat up both the sauna and the hot tub.
Can I cook on site?
Yes — the cabins have a kitchenette. The sauna house does not have a kitchen. If you would like breakfast, just get in touch.
Is camping possible as well?
You are welcome to camp in our yard — €15 per person. That includes use of the shower and outdoor toilet, the barbecue and access to electricity.
